it's a bit of a grey area

Ok, so you know I’m loving re:new’s new residence but it has presented a small background dilemma in that there aren’t any white walls in which to use for store photos. Solution? Well I’ve made a small investment in a new photo background and lighting equipment. And after some deliberation I decided to go for grey instead of white. I’ve always found it hard to photograph white clothes clearly against a white background and I must admit that I find it mildly irritating when sellers wash out the details of their clothes against a white background and too bright images… I can’t see what I’m buying.
This week’s listings are our first efforts into the grey area and while I was hoping to get a lighter grey effect, overall I’m pretty happy with the results. Feel free to weigh in an opinion. :)

  1. Photographic equipment can be so expensive, congrats on getting yourself new gear! Good choice with the grey - I have had the trouble of shooting white on white myself, certainly is a huge pain in the backside! ps I love the black and white mini, super cute
