I can feel the breeze through my t-shirt

These boots are possibly my best non-vintage second-hand find of the last few years. But I’d be kidding myself if I think I’m going to get much wear out of them because they’re a size too small. It’s always the way isn’t it!

Still raving about the way this jacket makes everything infinitely cooler, even a mere jeans and t-shirt combo. The t-shirt was salvaged from a bag bound for the clothing bin after Neil did a clean out, and then promptly attacked. Who needs to spend time unpicking seams when you have brute strength and a desire for undone!

turbulance

Quick fix suggestion for the day: when the button falls off your jacket and you can’t find your needles, replace it with a circus seal brooch instead!
I’m Gold Coast bound this afternoon, not via nautical means as this colour scheme may suggest!

i'm a lady who lunches

ha… I wish!
I’ve just come from a wonderful lunch with my ever effervescent friend Pauline, our first catch up for 2010. Needless to say there was plenty to catch up on and loads of stories to swap!

Oh, and I found the most perfectly stunning vintage 80s dress to wear to Co-Op Saturday night (as per my last post). Well, perfectly stunning with a few less inches on the skirt. Which is what I’m off to do now!

attenTION!

So I made these shoulder pads with the original intention of listing them on eBay but upon completion, and with a little bit of narcissism, I’ve decided I want to keep them for myself!
Not to say I can’t make anymore, so if you’re interested drop me an email and I’ll lovingly handcraft another pair for your personal satisfaction as well.
