newly listed
Quite pleased with what’s in and coming to the store at the moment, I think there’s some good stuff here, standout personal favourite being the cropped leather trousers. To die for!
Second to them, I love that black mini dress with metallic rainbow threading. And the black sequin Harry Who tank with an asymmetric hem. Oh, and the turquoise cotton dress with the white diamond hem detailing…
Hopefully you all think the same way and are enjoying the new store.

honesty
I’m still here, yes, I don’t know if you noticed I was missing but I’m back. I could give you excuses about being busy but you know what, in all honesty, I haven’t posted because I haven’t wanted to, I’ve been hating my blog. Yep, I’m saying it, I’ve been feeling uninspired and like I might just stop. I’m still undecided. For now I’ll just ease myself back into it and see how we go. Does anyone else ever feel like this?
Helping keep the motivation alive is looking at these photos compared to these taken in the same dress 18 months ago. I feel like the blog, and re:new for that matter, have come a long way and improved immensely since we began our relationship just 2 yrs ago; my shoes are a little bigger, my hair a lot longer and my jewellery a tad more dangerous at times, I’ve grown a life, a business and a wardrobe stockpile, and I’ve discovered and fed an addiction that is online shopping… although I’m not sure that last one is something to be thankful for! Hopefully I’ll manage to make it through another 2 yrs without sending myself crazy!

re:new on esty
So long eBay, hello etsy!
I debated about moving re:new over to etsy for a while, wondering whether it was the right thing to do for the business, would people find me, would my regular customers follow the change, would I still be able to move stock so it doesn't pile up in my office until the only part of me you can see is a messy top knot poking out the top?
Well we'll see won't we, but you never know if you never try. And they say change is as good as a holiday!
So re:new vintage is on etsy... here I am! With a 20% discount going on all purchases as a way to celebrate the change. Woo!

bubblegum gingham
Gingham on gingham, another case of 2 two random pieces meeting at just the right moment!
I sold this cute shirt at the markets on Saturday so I’m glad I got some time to take photos before it left, but Poppy Dreams and I will be back at Glebe again on the 26th of Nov with the skirt so… wink wink!

flailing and untangling
Some wonderful friends of mine in London got me an asos gift voucher for my birthday which I used to treat myself to this House of Harlow leather cuff. Shame my wrists are too tiny and it almost falls off and knocks out whoever I’m passing every time I flail my arms around. Which, as you can imagine, is all the time!!?!
Actually, when I’m wearing this knit my day needs to involve minimal flailing otherwise I spend all my time untangling myself from my bag, my jewellery, my front doorknob, my seatbelt, my baby, those little teeth things on the cling film boxes… as if I have this kind of time in my day to spare!
